Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair multiple office locations throughout the Jacksonville area. This is a hands-on position for someone with solid repair skills who takes pride in keeping properties and offices in good condition.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Handle general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC support
Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and office furniture as needed
Troubleshoot and fix problems with heating, cooling, water, and electrical systems
Complete minor building and furniture repairs
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergency issues
Coordinate with outside vendors and subcontractors for larger projects when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Track maintenance work completed and materials used
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (vocational or trade school preferred)
Hands-on experience in general maintenance, handyman, or building repair work
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (travel between offices required)
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Physically able to bend, crouch, lift, and carry items during the workday
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
