Lawn Care Driver/Technician
Drivers Responsibility:
Safety: Safely and legally operate a vehicle, following all traffic laws and regulations including speed limits. Ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other motorists, including hard acceleration and hard braking.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the vehicle in good condition by keeping it clean and performing regular maintenance inspections
Time management: Visit multiple locations each day, so drivers need to be efficient and have strong time-management skills
Customer service: Provide excellent customer service skills
Communication: Communicate effectively with passengers and/or dispatch
Loading and unloading: Load and unload lawn equipment, and ensure that it is transported safely and without damage
Follow Planned Route:: Follow routes based on provided gps via Service Auto Pilot
Reporting: Report any accidents or incidents to management
Requirements for Lawn Care drivers include:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a clean driving record for a period of 3 years
Must have experience pulling a 14-18” trailer (open & closed)
Lawn Care Responsibilities include:
Lawn care tasks: Mowing, weeding, trimming, and pruning
Landscape design: Planting shrubs, trees, and plants. Weed fabric and mulch installation
Customer service: Answering questions about lawn maintenance and referring to supervisor if unknown
Yard debris: Picking up and disposing of yard debris
Tool operation: Using lawn care tools such as weed eaters, shears, lawn mowers (ride and push), chain saws, pole saws, and blowers
Lawn Care Qualifications Include:
Physical stamina: Need to be able to bend, lift heavy equipment, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Customer service orientation: Able to provide great customer service
Time management: Able to manage their time well
Creativity: Be creative
Teamwork: Able to work well in a team
Valid driver's license: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is a plus
High school diploma or GED: A high school diploma or GED certificate is a plus
Pesticide certification: Pesticide certification is a plus but not a requirement
