Wilson Machine and Welding Works, Inc. is seeking an EXPERIENCED MANUAL MACHINIST - NOT A CNC MACHINIST - with a MINIMUM of seven (7) years' experience to join our successful and very busy company, founded in 1965. Candidate must be a self-starter, team player, able to work independently, in addition to working cohesively with others. Candidate must meet emergency deadlines, have excellent customer service skills, problem solving abilities and have a positive attitude. Salary excellent: commensurate with experience and skills. Full time Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturdays: only for an emergency job.
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Operating all conventional machinery, i.e., auto feed drill presses; lathes size ranges: 8" x 40"; 36" x 96"; Bridge Port mills; vertical milling machines; various sizes of bandsaws, etc.
The ability to weld and comprehend blueprints are a plus.
