Visual FX is hiring in our Custom Department. We will be adding a Custom/Restoration Auto Body Technician to our team to help us with our increased volume of work! This will be a Full-time hourly position. Come work at our new state of the art facility. We complete turnkey builds onsite. Part of our success has been the quality of our work and our niche with high-end luxury vehicles and antique autos. We have been able to attract, mentor, and develop a team of specialized technicians that cumulatively represent the best in Northeast Florida. A Body Technician must have most of the following knowledge/skills:
Disassembly
Body Prep
Body Work
Panel Replacement
Rust Repair
Reassembly
MIG Welding
Key attributes expected for Body Technician applicants:
Flexible and willing to perform different activities daily
Self-starter
Works well with others
Works with MINIMAL SUPERVISION
Attention to detail – commitment to quality repairs
Able to multi-task
Can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors
These skills are plus but not required:
ASE Certification(s)
ICAR Certification(s)
Knowledge of Wiring Fundamentals
Mechanical Skills
TIG Welding

TECHNICIANS MUST HAVE MOST OF THEIR OWN TOOLS. Individuals must have their own transportation to and from work. Our work hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Technicians have the ability to start their shift earlier than 8:30am.
