Position Description
The Construction Superintendent provides on-site coordination for all phases of Commercial construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining job site safety, quality control, and coordinates required inspections with local jurisdictions while acting as the liaison between Tenant Contractors and the client.
Responsibilities:
Develops and updates project schedules
Coordinates the work of subcontractors
Maintains field and safety reports
Schedules subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion
Performs quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
Maintain a daily log of activities on the job site
Ensures subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team
Ensures that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
Performs job progress and completion punch list identification and completion
Perform superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously
Experience/Requirements:
5+ years extensive commercial construction experience
