Welding Shop Foreman (1st Shift)

Aria Staffing is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Welding Foreman to oversee and manage our welding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding operations, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of welding processes, safety standards, and project management. The Welding Foreman will be responsible for supervising a team of welders, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety, and managing day-to-day welding activities to meet production goals.

Job Responsibilities:

-Provide hands-on leadership and supervision to a team of welders, ensuring tasks are completed on time, safely, and

according to project specifications.

- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to plan, organize, and execute welding tasks, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

-Train and develop welders to improve their skills and performance. Provide on-the-job guidance, mentorship, and feedback to encourage growth and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.

- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and company-specific safety

policies.

- Identify and troubleshoot welding issues and equipment malfunctions, resolving problems quickly to minimize

downtime and production delays.

- Monitor the availability of welding supplies and equipment, ensuring that materials are used efficiently and equipment

is properly maintained.

-Maintain accurate records of daily activities, welding tasks, safety reports, and inventory logs. Provide regular updates

on production progress, issues, and team performance to management.

-Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or certifications in welding technology.

-5+ years of experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

-Familiarity with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA requirements.

-Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
