Responsibilities
Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and track shipments.
Analyze transportation data to optimize routing and improve delivery efficiency.
Coordinate with drivers, clients and providers to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including shipment details and delivery confirmations.
Monitor freight movements and address any issues or delays promptly.
Implement transportation planning strategies to enhance service levels.
Experience
Proven experience in dispatching or a related field within the transportation industry is preferred.
Familiarity with freight operations and logistics management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.
Excellent bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of transportation planning principles and practices is advantageous
