We are a local tow company in the Jacksonville area looking for heavy duty and light duty drivers to join our family. We tow local and long distance. The Ideal candidate would have strong communication skill and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must have 2 years experience. We are competitive commission based pay. We offer health, dental, vision and 401K matching benefits. Drivers must have schedule flexibility as we are looking for candidates with the ability to work on call and weekends as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Operate tow trucks to safely transport vehicles to designated locations.
-Ability to operate a phone to document tasks assigned.
-Perform routine pre-trip inspections on towing equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
-Load and unload vehicles with care, utilizing proper techniques to prevent damage.
-Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers.
-Maintain accurate records of services performed, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
-Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
SKILLS
-Proficient in driving tow trucks and knowledge of how to use light duty and heavy duty equipment
-Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
-Ability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
-Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices in vehicle recovery.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
