Senior SCADA Systems Analyst

Description Administers the 24/7 industrial network, including switching, routing, virtualization, servers, firewalls, workstations, and other peripherals.Installs, configures, and maintains PLCs, operating systems, networks, and communication systems for water treatment facilities and remote sites.Edits PLC ladder logic and performs function-block programming for system updates.Provisions and maintains SCADA HMI software, including security configuration, trending, reporting, and web server management.Manages FCC-licensed radio modem communication systems, handling programming, installation, and maintenance tasks.Administers network security using firewalls, endpoint security software, and cybersecurity tools to prevent vulnerabilities.Designs, builds, and installs RTU and RIO panels using CAD or similar software for water treatment processes.Collaborates with electrical staff for equipment testing, identifying issues, and managing inventory and parts for repairs.Develops, maintains, and upgrades SQL database reporting tools and manages SCADA Web Server, including HTML page design.Trains SCADA analysts, electricians, and engineers on hardware, software, and programming, and provides emergency on-call support.Requirements Bachelors, Associates or higher degree in Applied Science, Electronics Engineering & Technology or a closely related field supplemented by three (3) years previous experience or training in water/wastewater operations, programming, installation, maintenance and administration of Access Controls, CCTV, SCADA or other Operations Technology networks. OR High school diploma or GED supplemented by five (5) years previous experience or training in water/wastewater operations, programming, installation, maintenance and administration of Access Controls, CCTV, SCADA or other Operations Technology networks. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida’s driver’s license. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred. Candidates for consideration should possess or show proof of working towards at least two of the following current certifications: Allen-Bradley RS Logix 500 and 5000, CTI 2500 or Siemens 505 Series, Siemens S7-200, or other PLC Manufacturer; GE Proficy or other SCADA HMI software; FCC Operator Technician License; CompTIA (A+, Network+, Server+, Security+); Cisco Switching and Routing (CCENT or higher); Microsoft Workstation or Servers (MCP; MCSE); virtualization software; Linux; Firewall Security; any ISA Certifications.
