Busy Restaurant & Bar on Duval Street in Key West is looking for servers and food runners. What will you do?
Servers: Take care of guests. Answer their questions or make recommendations, which means learning a menu and being able to talk to guests. Take and serve their orders. Be responsible for correct payments. We are looking for servers who are fun and friendly with guests. Proven experience helps. This is be a fast paced restaurant. Opening and closing duties do include light cleaning. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays are a must as we are open 365 days a year.
Foodrunners: Main responsibility is carrying meals to guests from the kitchen. To be a successful food runner you have to be able to:
-read tickets,
-identify menu items
-deliver items to correct table/seat
-carry multiple plates at once
-insure guest has all items to begin their meal; silver, napkins
-keep station and tickets organized
-speak to guests and coworkers with courtesy
This is a fun place to work, and can be quite busy.
Part time and full time availability. Also looking to fill other positions.
