Position Summary:
Mate/Deckhand needed for busy 50’ Sportfish charter boat. Position consists of two to four days per week during off season, and four to five days in season. Saturdays and Sundays are required, including holidays as necessary. Candidate must be customer-service oriented, motivated and someone who takes pride in their work.
Local preferred, position is available immediately.
Location: Key West/Stock Island - Florida
Job Qualifications & Essential Functions:
- Responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment and vessel thoroughly after each use
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Ensure customer knowledge and adherence to company safety procedures
- Minimum one year charter boat fishing experience preferred; knowledge of both bottom fishing and trolling a bonus
- Mechanical knowledge and/or ability is a plus
- CPR and First Aid training preferred
- Must be on a USCG drug test consortium with random drug testing
- Reliable transportation
