Sales Manager – Boat Dealership

Overview:

A premier boat dealership in the Florida Keys (Key Largo) is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead its high-performing sales team. This role oversees all sales operations, team leadership, customer experience, and inventory management for a premium lineup of powerboats and catamarans. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in marine sales or other luxury, high-ticket products and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Spanish fluency is a plus, and this is a tobacco-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Performance

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

Establish and refine sales processes, follow-up systems, and customer relationship standards.

Provide ongoing product and sales training to enhance team performance.

Customer Experience

Ensure an exceptional, personalized customer experience from the first inquiry through delivery.

Support escalated customer concerns and ensure timely, professional resolution.

Build long-term client relationships that drive referrals and repeat sales.

Inventory & Product Management

Oversee new and pre-owned boat inventory, including pricing, merchandising, and showroom standards.

Manage sea trials, inspections, and in-water product demonstrations.

Stay current on new models, marine technology, engine packages, and manufacturer programs.

Business Operations

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

Partner with marketing to drive promotions, digital campaigns, and boat show participation.

Ensure compliance with dealership policies, contracts, marine industry regulations, and tobacco-free workplace standards.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly sales reporting.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

3–5+ years of sales management experience in the marine, luxury automotive, RV, or high-end recreational product industries.

Proven ability to lead and develop successful sales teams.

Strong knowledge of CRM platforms, lead management, and the sales cycle.

Familiarity with boats, outboard engines, and marine products—or the ability to learn quickly.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work Saturdays and peak seasonal hours, and attend boat shows or dealership events.

Valid driver’s license; boating license or certification a plus.

Spanish language skills are a strong plus.

Must adhere to all policies of a tobacco-free workplace.
