Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Drywall Hangers/Finishers for an immediate start in Key West, FL!
WEEKLY PAY - HOUSING PROVIDED
PAY: $24-$28/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:00pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 weeks
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drywall Hanger/Finisher to join our construction team. As a Drywall Hanger/Finisher, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential projects, ensuring a smooth and high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities
Drywall Hanging:
-Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings.
-Secure drywall sheets to studs and framing using screws or nails.
-Ensure proper alignment and spacing of drywall sheets.
Drywall Finishing:
-Tape and mud seams and joints between drywall sheets.
-Apply multiple coats of joint compound to create a smooth surface.
-Sand finished surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes.
-Repair damaged drywall as needed.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Drywall Hanger/Finisher.
-Proficiency in hanging, taping, mudding, and sanding drywall.
-Knowledge of drywall materials and tools.
-Strong attention to detail and quality.
-Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor.
Requirements:
-Must be able to work in the US.
-Must be able to pass a background check.
-Must have reliable transportation.
