Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsJob Summary:The Cardiovascular Programs Director is responsible for the coordination and quality management of Cardiovascular services and outreach across HCA Florida Orlando Market. They provide oversight and guidance to the program while collaborating closely with hospital leadership, the Cardiovascular Medical Director, the Hospitals’ Cardiovascular Leadership, and front-line staff. Responsibilities include to direct, plan, and facilitate processes for care of the Cardiovascular patients in conjunction with medical staff, physician specialists, Nursing, Quality, and ancillary services. He/she will manage the process of Cardiovascular quality of care data abstraction and analysis to ensure high quality care delivery.What you will do in this role:Effective management and coordination of cardiovascular programs through implementation of evidence-based clinical processes and policies.Assist in monitoring Cardiovascular quality outcomes and identify areas for improvement in the care or protocols. Initiate and lead process improvement strategies when opportunities are identified.Gain support and collaborate with key stakeholders such as but not limited to Nursing, physicians, and affiliate hospitals to ensure effective quality program management.Support Cardiovascular coordinators to achieve/ maintain Chest Pain Accreditation.Lead Cardiovascular Leadership in increasing awareness of and visibility for the Cardiovascular Program within the community to improve and sustain quality of care.Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize access to quality and timely cardiovascular care.Actively participates and represents HCA Florida Orlando Market in local, state, regional and national organizations that support Cardiovascular patient care.Collaborate with the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs to ensure seamless and timely access to the post-acute continuum.Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify best practices and process innovations in Cardiovascular careThe job responsibilities of this position may include cross-training in other functions to ensure satisfactory operation of the Cardiovascular Programs.Responsibility for collaboration with the Education Department to deliver updated Cardiovascular education to HCA Florida Orlando Market.Honors our Mission and Values: Ability to build trust and act with authenticity to cultivate a culture of integrity, inclusion, and mutual respect.Understands and is committed to helping the HCA Florida Orlando Market and its associated facilities achieve goals.Must learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of equipment, tools or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.What qualifications you will need:
