Salary Range $37,800.36 - $39,375.18 Annually SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent in this position is considered to have regulatory responsibilities and is subject to the provisions of Chapter 60L-36, Florida Administrative Code. The incumbent in this position is expected to become familiar in the department's reentry initiatives; display leadership skills that demonstrate the department's commitment to reentry efforts while maintaining a professional demeanor. The incumbent in this position is expected to perform other duties as necessary Specific Duties

Prepares all correspondence, reports and other related documents for the Deputy Regional Director for Operations office. Receives incoming mail, copies, and distributes as appropriate; composes replies not requiring the personal attention of the Deputy Regional Director; independently composes and signs various letters.

Maintains the Deputy Regional Director's calendar; arranges appointments; handles travel arrangements; and completes travel vouchers. Provides input, both oral and written, on meetings, conferences, seminars, and training activities.

Maintains a suspense system to track due dates on various reports and documents; maintains a document tracking system as appropriate on document distribution.

Maintains a current version of the Management Review Report Writer Programs and distributes to appropriate staff.

Maintains documents/data on the personal computer and produces reports, graphs, spreadsheets, and other such visual aids. Conducts research as appropriate.

Monitors messages, reports, and other data received on the Corrections Data Center (CDC) network; distributes information as appropriate; drafts responses as appropriate and once approved, transmits on the network.

Serves as office administrative manager; ensuring appropriate supplies are available; reviews and approves timesheets on People First as a timekeeper for operations; maintains leave schedules for staff; maintains and submits vehicle reports as required; maintains property records; maintains current copies of department rules and procedures; and organizes and maintains the office filing system.

Assists in maintaining and updating institutional emergency plans and operating procedures.

Assists the regional Emergency Operations Center Coordinator in updating and maintaining records in the EOC on emergency plans; upon activation of the center assists in the operations of the center through telephone communications, computer communications, tracking storms on the computer, posting charts, maintaining EOC logs, and other such administrative duties.

Assists in preparation for conferences or meetings on behalf of the Deputy Regional Director; records official minutes of such meetings; prepares and distributes the final minutes.
