Based in Clearwater, FL, we are a leading global aftermarket technology manufacturer for the automotive industry. We produce advanced multimedia, infotainment, audio, safety features, GPS tracking technology, and integration systems for commercial and consumer vehicles. We are a long standing company that has done very well despite all that has happened recently, and operate on a global scale. We are currently looking to create our software engineering team to develop new and exciting projects!
This role will be 90% remote, only coming into the office 1-2 times per month on average

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Develop throughput IOT server software to capture and present telematics insights
Help in designing, developing, and testing enterprise software on an AWS infrastructure
Design and develop multi-instance, scalable applications that work with heavy IoT data loads
Design database schema
Architect systems to manage geospatial data linked to various devices
Construct enterprise applications for scale in containerized systems
Deliver fullstack cloud applications
Utilize automated unit testing and end-to-end system tests
Identify and address bugs and performance bottlenecks
Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle
Lead and support design/coding reviews
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or similar
3+ years experience software engineer
Proven experience using Elixir
Experience developing services within AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Kinesis)
Database experience (Postgres, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
Nice to have:
Experience with React for web interfaces
Mobile development experience
