Publix s Information Services (I/S) department is located in Lakeland, Florida and Alpharetta, Georgia and employs over 1000 associates. I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers.

This position will be on the Enterprise Monitoring Services (EMS) team that is responsible for monitoring of Publix Enterprise Systems. Systems supported by the EMS team include Dynatrace OneAgent, Splunk, Broadcom/CA Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM), Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Precise i3 Database monitoring. This position will be focused on implementation and support of the Dynatrace OneAgent platform. This position s tasks include:

• Software and hardware installation, configuration, integration and support


• Systems and project design and architecture


• System and network management activities including upgrades and patching


• Tier 1 problem determination and resolution


• Systems security and vulnerability remediation


• Project team participation


• New technology awareness, research and system integration.


• Configure and maintain software services and system profiles for enterprise tools


• Create support documentation

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a large Enterprise IT environment


• Bachelor s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience


• Experience supporting Windows Server Operating Systems


• Experience supporting RedHat Linux Operating Systems


• Experience with PowerShell scripting


• Tier 2/3 support escalation and on-call rotation


• Experience leading small to medium projects from requirements through implementation

• Experience with the Dynatrace OneAgent Application Performance monitoring suite


• Experience with various systems management/logging tools to include Splunk, Microsoft Systems Center SCOM and Broadcom/CA Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM)


• Continued education including additional analytical or business degrees


• Continued education in various technical disciplines


• 1 year of IT related experiencesuch as program development and design, engineering and/or security


• Minimum of one year of experience supporting Windows Server operating systems


• Good understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies


• Experience working with vulnerability management tools, and remediation activities


• Experience working in a process structured environment which includes Change Management and Disaster Recovery preparedness


• Solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available, highly secure and highly regulated environment to meet business, security, and compliance requirements


• Experience with administration and support of software systems
