We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to assist with the care of my elderly father, age 80, in his private home. He is recovering from a stroke and has mobility challenges. My mother, age 78, also lives in the home but does not require caregiving support.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with getting my father out of bed each morning
Bathing and hygiene support
Light housekeeping and general tidying
Providing companionship and general care for my father
Occasional assistance with errands or transportation to appointments (reliable vehicle required)
Schedule:
Split shift: Morning and evening availability required
Specific hours to be discussed and set based on mutual availability and my father’s needs
Requirements:
Prior caregiving experience (preferred, but not required if you are dependable and willing to learn)
Reliable transportation
Trustworthy, patient, and respectful
Non-smoker preferred
