Leadership, Knowledge, and Organizational Skills with knowledge enabling better planning and problem-solving

Act as a liaison between project management, subcontractors, inspectors, clients, and FDOT representatives—clearly translating technical details and requirements

Industry feedback emphasizes treating team members with respect, owning up to mistakes, and cultivating trust

Plan ahead, manage overlapping scopes, prioritize tasks, and track daily site activities to stay on schedule and preempt bottlenecks

Rigorous in following specifications—for example, understanding mix designs, reading submittals, catching subtle differences in concrete applications

Maintain transparent and accurate records—daily logs, RFIs, cost records—for accountability and traceability

Adaptability & Resilience Under Pressure

Function effectively under tight deadlines, work long hours when needed, and remain calm under jobsite pressure

Uphold integrity in leading the team, adhere to safety protocols, and build client trust through consistent performance

Familiarity with FDOT’s construction manuals, specification codes, permitting processes, and inspection protocols is essential
