Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator with experience in operating heavy machinery for roadside maintenance and landscaping projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and boom mowers, and has worked on FDOT projects or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform ditch cleaning, shoulder rework, and grading tasks
Install sod and landscaping materials along roadways and highway
Assist with general labor tasks as needed on the job site
Ensure all work is completed according to FDOT standards and timelines
Requirements
Proven experience operating skid steers, excavators, and boom mowers
Experience with shoulder rework, ditch cleaning, and sod installation
Valid MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) certification – preferred
Valid driver’s license
