Warehouse Manager/ Groundskeeper at Nance's Flooring Inc.
We are a small family owned flooring company in Lakeland, FL. We have been in business for 27 years and are looking for someone that can help maintain our ware house and office property as well as help inside with sales in the future.
We are looking for a focused, dedicated, organized, hard worker to fill our Warehouse Management position.
Must be personable and able to deal with customers.
Must have forklift certification/be able to maneuver accordingly on forklift using a carpet pole, or pallet inserts.
Must have BASIC knowledge of the flooring industry and be able to differentiate between different types of flooring.
Must have references from previous employment.
Must be willing to grow with our company and stay busy during the work hours. There are endless projects to be done, so individual must want to fill their day being busy - we have been unlucky in the past with workers who tend to sit around/ stay on the personal phone so we are going to be very careful this time to find someone who is willing to grow with us, and be available to us throughout the day if something is needed.
Duties are as follows:
General upkeep of the entire warehouse and grounds.
Weekly cleaning to be followed for the inside office & warehouse. (Dusting, vacuum, mopping, restroom upkeep.)
Accepting/Tracking, Unloading/loading truck deliveries as well as helping sub-contractors unload/load.
Inventory tracking of flooring materials and tools
Minimal paperwork upkeep/just general tracking
Painting quarter round/shoe molding/base, etc. when needed.
Organization of our warehouse, re-organize different areas
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
We are hoping to find a long lasting individual to join our team. We want to be able to offer growth to said individual and want someone who has interest in sales and learning about our company/brand, and what we offer.
Our starting pay will be at $18/HR.
