We are a growing trailer manufacturing and repair company seeking a reliable material processor to join our team. This position is responsible for cutting full-length (20–40 ft) steel channel, tubing, and I-beam to specified measurements.
Mon – Thurs, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Up to one-hour unpaid lunch break
Opportunity for overtime on Fridays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut steel materials to exact lengths using a horizontal bandsaw
- Read and interpret measurements accurately with a tape measure
- Handle and move heavy steel pieces safely
- Organize and maintain inventory across the shop
- Able to work efficiently on nonclimate controlled warehouse
- Maintain cutting equipment and work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read a tape measure within 1/16"
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Previous experience with steel or construction materials is a plus, but not required
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work outdoors
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug testing
