We are seeking an experienced Forman to oversee underground piping construction projects, ensuring quality control and efficient project scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline construction and the ability to manage teams effectively on-site. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and maintaining high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties:
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality control measures.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including material usage and labor hours.
- Led crew in installation of new and existing underground utilities including: sewer, storm drain, water & fire mains, drainage pipe & structures. Led crew in set-up and installation of dewatering systems.
- Operate tools and equipment as needed, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical work.
Experience:
- 2 years minimum proven experience in a supervisor role within the construction industry, particularly in pipeline projects.
- 3 years of experience with underground piping.
- Strong knowledge of construction site management practices, including contract management and quality control processes.
- Read & Take-Off Blueprints, use of electronic and manual engineering scales to determine layouts.

Salary: $1,200 to $1,500 weekly pay (Pay is based upon experience)
