A Premier Marine and Industrial Fabrication and Design Company with a 40+ year history of Quality and Innovation, is looking for a Production Manager with 5+ years Sheet Metal Fabrication Experience. Located in Bartow, Florida (Central FL / Lakeland area - between Orlando and Tampa).
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years sheet metal / plate fabrication experience (aluminum preferred) with 2+ years supervisory exp.
- Must have open availability and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work overtime (early mornings and late afternoons) and weekends - as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts
- Ability to lift 80+ pounds repetitively
- Advanced mathematical and problem solving skills
- Press brake (CNC preferred) & bend layouts
- Plate shear
- Drill press / mill (3-axis manual / non-CNC)
- Saws (mitre, abrasive, sabre, skill, table and band saw)
- Power and hand tools (drills, grinders, sanders, routers)
- Threading equipment (drilling and tapping)
- Basic lathe operation (manual / non-CNC)
- Overhead lifts
- Forklifts
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years fabrication exp. with 5+ years supervisory exp.
- CNC Plasma or HD Plasma exp.
- CNC Waterjet exp.
- Hand plasma / cutting torch
- Basic AutoCAD or CAD / CAM exp.
- Production scheduling
- Pipe / tube bending exp.
- Safety team leadership
