Bilingual Pipe Superintendent - Paving Company

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipe Superintendent to oversee our construction projects involving the installation of water, storm, and sewer systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, be proficient in Procore, and have a proven track record of success in similar projects. Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill of installing underground utility pipe, fittings, valves, and piping systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise the installation of water, storm, and sewer systems.

- Manage and oversee 3 to 5 pipe crews simultaneously.

- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

- Approve time and attendance records or timecards for all crew members.

- Enforce safety protocols and provide a safe work environment.

- Conduct site inspections and provide reports to management.

- Oversee inventory and materials at jobsite. Coordinate with Project Manager the ordering of materials.

- Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating the work. Organize crew, materials, and equipment to achieve highest productivity and quality and lowest cost in line with the budget.

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

- Must be a good communicator, motivator, and team player.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Skills:

- 3-5 years of experience in construction management, specifically in water, storm, and sewer installation.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams effectively.

- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

- Excellent time management skills.

- Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, municipal specs and construction schedule.

- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

- Proficient with computers and Procore.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is preferred not required.

- OSHA Safety Certification is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Ability to work on uneven surfaces.

- Able to sit and stand for long periods of time.

- The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

- May required to use personal protective equipment.

- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner, and actively listen to our clients and their needs
