Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pile Driver to join our team. The Pile Driver will be responsible for driving pilings into the ground to provide support for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
Duties:
Knowledge of pile hammers
Ability to assemble pile driving equipment
Working knowledge of cranes, ability to read and interpret load charts
Ability to fabricate/oversee fabrication of pile templates
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality
Ability to direct/oversee members of pile driving crew
Must be aware of and abide by all company and OSHA regulations that pertain to the work
Coordinate with construction teams to ensure accurate placement of pilings
Requirements:
Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.
Three (3) to Five (5) years or more of industry related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
All work is performed outdoors in all types of weather, including extreme heat. Job requires long hours of standing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, squatting and walking.
Maintain constant awareness of the jobsite’s various concurrent activities, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
