Milton J Wood Fire Protection is currently seeking full-time Electrical Helpers with construction experience in Lakeland, FL and the surrounding areas.
Only persons with construction electrical experience need to apply.
In this position you will be assisting in the installation, service and troubleshooting of various types of fire alarm and suppression systems. You will work closely with other technicians and Fire Protection personnel in meeting the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining safety conditions, quality standards and working within the various codes and standards associated with Fire Alarm and Fire Protection.
Qualified candidates for this position should have some electrical/fire and construction experience.
Experience with customer service and relationship building background is a must. Candidates should also be professionally motivated to excel in their chosen field, NICET Certification and FASA Certification is strongly desired. Additionally, candidates with exposure to other low voltage systems will be given extra consideration. Helpers with minimal fire alarm/suppression experience will be considered.

Some projects require travel and out of town overnight stays.
