Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Receiving Supervisor. The Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the receiving department. This includes managing inventory control, coordinating material handling activities, and ensuring the efficient operation of forklifts and other equipment. The Receiving Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising 1-2 employees and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Supervisory Skills and Leadership abilities
Experience in Shipping & Receiving and Inventory Control
Proficiency in Material Handling
Forklift Operation skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Experience in the metal industry is a plus
