ÂWe currently have positions available for Diesel Mechanics. ÂEssential Functions:Preventative Maintenance and DOT Inspection procedures and guidelines.Electrical systems including, starting, charging, lighting, and basic truck electrical systems.Diagnosis and repair of truck, engine, and other truck component electronics systems.Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.Diagnosis and repair of various configurations of lift gate systems.General trailer structural and suspension systems.Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments.Possible welding and fabricating skills.Adjust and reline brakes.Perform routine preventative maintenance.Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.Able to work on various makes and models of trucks and parts.Tasks assigned by the shop Service Manager.This position is integral to Hogan fulfilling its goal to be recognized as the most respected transportation provider in the industry by continually focusing on providing the highest quality experience possible for our customers, employees, and strategic partners.Our Diesel Mechanic position is key to supporting our continued growth and success!We would love to tell you about Hogan and learn more about you!ÂPosition Qualifications3 years of mechanic experience working with refrigeration units including; Thermo-King or CarrierEPA 608 CertificationASE TrainingOwning your own tools/tool chestHigh school diploma or GEDGreat benefits package included if you meet these qualifications including: Health(including dental and vision), sick days, vacation and 401K.CLICK HERE TO APPLY
