Summary: This position disassembles and prepares product for assembly, sanitize, and testing. Performs electrical-mechanical sanitize/assembly/repair/rework/testing using hand and power tools, fixtures and aids. Follows documented work instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform electro-mechanical assembly/repair/rework/testing while maintaining quality workmanship standards to ensure product reliability
Perform tasks involving the use of a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, and aids (ex. tube-cutter, crimp machine, machine test machine, fixtures, pallet jack, etc.)
Capable of rotating into the assembly, repair, packaging, and test stations.
Ability to receive and product
Follow all applicable released procedures and document results as required
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements including any department specific requirements
Train employees on an as needed basis
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic computer and math skills required. Ability to read diagrams, drawings and follow work instructions within established guidelines
Good verbal and written communication skills
A basic level of proficiency with various hardware and assembly tools is required (ex: screw driver, pliers)
Basic knowledge of mechanical tools is preferred, but not required (ex: torch wrench)
Must be able to lift up to 38 lbs. on a routine basis
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Electrical mechanical assembly or repair experience is preferred, but not required
Intake notes:
Global Services Specialist is open to candidates that don't have much training or experience assembly work
However, electrical mechanical assembly or repair experience is preferred, but not required
Must have a completed High School diploma or equivalent required
Job Longevity is a must
Strong verbal and written communication skills; Follow SOPs; team oriented
