Description We are offering an opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. This role is based in Lauderhill, Florida and requires an individual who can handle a range of responsibilities related to maintaining accurate financial records for our operations. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity with the potential for long-term engagement.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of customer credit applications in a precise and timely manner. Maintain and update customer credit records for accuracy and consistency. Handle inquiries from customers promptly and professionally. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of utilities for associations and company invoices. Progressively take on accounts receivable responsibilities based on performance. Utilize accounting software systems, specifically TOPS, for efficient financial management. Implement Microsoft Excel for various functions including budget spreadsheets and parking spaces management. Prepare financial statements as required. Eventually handle bank reconciliation responsibilities. Manage billing processes, particularly in relation to utilities. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in full charge bookkeeping Proficiency in accounting software systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in using a computerized accounting system Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel formulas Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to prepare an annual budget Proficiency in cash flow analysis Experience with TOPS software Experience in handling weekly account payable Familiarity with HOA accounting procedures Knowledge of Real Estate - Condominium accounting Experience in bank and cash deposits, including daily bank deposits Familiarity with certificates of deposit Experience in utility billing, including utilities and electric utility billing Proficiency in electronic billing, billing systems, billing statements, and billing collection Experience with automated billing Ability to prepare financial statements, including monthly financial statements Experience in bank reconciliations, including monthly bank reconciliation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
