We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsIn this position :You will manage efficient flow of patients including screening and assessmentsYou will educate patients and families regarding treatment and medication instructionsYou will administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician ordersWhat qualifications you will need:
Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida, or
Recognized compact licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provision)
Associate’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
Current BLS & PALS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
1 year of Acute Care Nursing experience on a Pediatric Unit preferred
NRP & ENPC Certification within 90 days of employment

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
