Summary As anAcquisition Services Specialist, you will provide acquisition and project management support to DOD and/or civilian agency clients.Location of position:Office of Assisted Acquisition Services, Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM)MacDill AFB, FLThis officeis a full spectrum, cradle-to-grave acquisition, project and financial management services provider. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Provides project management support to Federal client agencies for complex acquisitions. Defines and structures acquisitions for clients, troubleshoots issues, develops solutions, tracks funding and financial feasibility, maintains project schedule, and evaluates deliverables. Provides acquisition support and advises clients on policy and processes. Maintains client communication and written documentation, addresses relevanttechnical and project management issues, and leads meetings. Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 5 investigation level). You must be granted this clearance before you can start the job. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service.Specialized experience includes experience in acquisition and project management, financial management, reviewing deliverables, and communicating with customers to solve issues.
