Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk for a contract-to-hire position with a growing company in the Miami area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records related to incoming payments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all receivables.Overview:
Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Record and process incoming payments (checks, wire transfers, credit cards) and reconcile with customer accounts.
Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment.
Maintain and update customer files, ensuring all payments and transactions are recorded properly.
Prepare and submit regular reports on receivables status, aging accounts, and collection efforts.
Communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
Strong Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
