Engineering & Construction firm in Miami seeks accounting clerk familiar with building construction accounts receivable procedures, including AIA standard documents and retainage calculation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in using QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe
Proficient in Job Cost, Estimates, Project Management software.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
Prepare and process journal entries for various accounts
Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
Generate financial reports and statements as needed
Communicate with external CPA firm to provide documents for preparation of the tax returns for all companies. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
SKILLS
MUST be fluent in English and Spanish (Both Spoke and Write)
Knowledge of basic accounting concepts such as debits, credits, and journal entries
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Prior experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk is preferred
