We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Placement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fostering relationships with university and professional coaches across the United States, ensuring the seamless recruitment and representation of athletes. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying emerging talent, developing new business opportunities, and enhancing our service offerings through strategic initiatives such as travel camps, tours, and the establishment of new sports departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily communication and meetings with university and professional coaches to understand and address their recruitment needs effectively.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with our athletes in the United States, offering support and guidance to those at both university and professional levels.
- Scout for professional athletes within the United States for potential future representation, focusing on expanding our athletes' portfolio.
- Innovate and develop new sources of revenue in the United States, particularly through organizing and offering travel camps and tours for amateur clubs, university programs, and professional teams. This includes facilitating sports exchange programs between Europe and the United States.
- Spearhead the creation of new sports departments within the United States to diversify and strengthen USA Connect's portfolio of athletes and sports disciplines.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Sports Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with European athletes, demonstrating a profound understanding of the European sports landscape and its integration with American sports.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, coaches, and sports professionals.
- Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and revenue streams in the sports industry.
- Ability to travel as needed for meetings, events, and scouting purposes.
