We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cheer and Tumbling Instructor to join our team. As an instructor, you will be responsible for leading and instructing cheerleading and tumbling classes to students ranging from beginners to advanced levels. Your role will involve teaching proper techniques, form, and safety practices in a positive and motivating manner.
Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct engaging cheerleading and tumbling classes tailored to various skill levels.
Teach proper techniques for cheer jumps, stunts, tumbling passes, and choreography.
Focus on safety measures and ensure students adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork, skill development, and self-confidence.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to help them progress in their skills.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize events, showcases, and competitions.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cheerleading and tumbling to enhance teaching methods.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cheerleading and tumbling instructor/coach is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong background in cheerleading, gymnastics, or related disciplines.
Knowledge of proper spotting techniques and safety practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm for working with children and helping them achieve their goals.
Ability to create a positive and motivating atmosphere in the class.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
