We are a Florida Keys tour company based in Fort Lauderdale. We pick up passengers in our tour vehicles starting from Broward County then drive them to the Keys for a day. The tours are educational, packed with adventures, and fun for the whole family.

We are seeking an individual residing in Broward County for the tour guide position for 1-4 days per week. The tourism industry in South Florida is seasonal therefore less tours during the spring and summer time and more tours during the fall and winter time.
The guide drives a 15 passenger tour van where they pick up passengers mainly from resorts and hotels in Broward. From there they drive to the Keys narrating the tours with great information. Tours range from 7-16 hours long for the passengers.
Days per week: Mostly weekdays and occasional weekends.
Guide Hours: Depends on tour and pick up locations. Starting as early in the morning as 6:30am and as late in the morning as 9:30am. The day ends when you drop off all the passengers and return the van which is usually around 6-7pm. Key West tours are Thursdays and are longer days. Key West tours come with a bus driver. Guide just narrates the Key West tour and does not drive the vehicle.
Qualifications:
-Must have a charismatic personality and be comfortable speaking in front of groups of people.
-Must be knowledgeable about Florida, the Keys, and the Everglades (ecosystems, culture, and history).
-Must be knowledgeable about Florida wildlife and be able to identify species of flora and fauna seen on tours.
-Florida naturalists, biologists, educators, or someone with tour guide experience preferred.
-Must be 25 years or older.
-Must have a flexible schedule and be able to accept the tours given to them.
-Must have a clean driving record and have a Florida drivers license.
-Must be a SAFE DRIVER and be able to operate a large van.

Plus tips: Tips range from $50 - $300 per trip
