Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Kendall, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with managing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents. This position offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity, allowing you to grow and evolve within our organization.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently entering and processing invoices in line with company procedures. Establishing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with vendors. Conducting reconciliation processes to ensure all financial records are correct and up-to-date. Conducting 3-way matching processes to verify that orders, receipts, and invoices are consistent. Using software tools such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to manage and analyze financial data. Ensuring the accuracy of invoices, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any issues promptly. Performing account reconciliation tasks, including balancing accounts payable and managing internal checks. Executing check runs and ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner. Coding invoices accurately to ensure they are allocated to the correct department or project. Utilizing data entry skills to update and maintain financial records and databases.Requirements Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Invoice Processing Must have experience using Microsoft Excel Knowledge and experience in QuickBooks is required Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
