Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in international wire transfers to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Management: Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment of invoices.
International Wire Transfers: Oversee and execute international wire transfers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to company policies.
Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving any payment discrepancies promptly.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including accounts payable aging and cash flow forecasts.
Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and bank statements to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all transactions are documented in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and treasury, to support overall financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on international wire transfers.
Strong understanding of international payment processes and compliance requirements.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Knowledge of foreign currency exchange and hedging strategies.
Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
