job detailsThe Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding our customer base by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role is focused on renting warehouse space and selling our full suite of logistics solutions, including 3PL services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, solid sales acumen, and a proven track record of business development success.salary: $48 - $57 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities
Identify and generate leads through research, networking, and cold calling to target potential customers in need of warehouse space and logistics solutions.
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, focusing on businesses that require warehousing, distribution, and 3PL services.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of our warehouse facilities and 3PL services.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company while securing long-term agreements.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with a focus on increasing occupancy rates in our warehouse facilities and expanding our 3PL client base.
Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics, warehousing, or 3PL industries.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid understanding of warehousing, distribution, and 3PL services.
