POSITION: EARLY HEAD START CREDENTIALED CHILDCARE TEACHER ASSOCIATE – FULL-TIME (ages Infant-Toddler up to 3)LOCATION:- Carol Center:  112 NW 3rd St, Miami Florida 33128- Gerry Sweet:  351 NW 5th St, Miami Fl 33128When: Daytime, Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week, schedule anywhere from 7:30am to 5:30pm (staggered shifts), totaling 8 hours per day, year roundNew Rate of Pay: $16.89 per hourFCCPC Birth – Five certification, or CDA certification in Infant-Toddler, Staff Verification Birth-Five requiredResponsible for planning and implementing daily learning activities, nurturing the children and managing and maintaining the Early Head Start classroom and its equipment and supplies, establishes and maintains supportive relationships with infants, toddlers, and parents and implementing developmentally appropriate routines and curriculum for infants and toddlers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.Plan and implement individualized, developmentally appropriate, nurturing care for infants and toddlers in a center-based settingCoordinate use of community resources to enrich the learning environmentSupport program philosophy that parents are the primary educators and nurturers of their childrenEnhance the relationship of parents and their children by encouraging parent participationOversee and assist with classroom cleanup and follow universal precautions dailyAssist children in transitioning beginning and end of each day and during field tripsMaintain program standards regarding confidentiality and professional boundariesSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shiftMonday to Friday
