RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Information Security Analyst in Miami, FL.
Summary:
The client is hiring Information Security Analysts at all levels to support a Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC). The integration and employment of cybersecurity activities for DODIN operations with internal defensive cyber operation measures in response to vulnerabilities and threats to reduce risk across the cyber battlefield.
In this role you will plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information, in support of the USSOUTHCOM-SCITES program.
Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure
Respond to computer security breaches and viruses
Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments, which may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Control Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of management, operational, and technical security controls used to protect, detect characterize, counter and mitigate network and system vulnerabilities and security events
Provide CSSP services, including but not limited to cyber monitoring, management, analysis, auditing, forensics, and incident response
Support security incident event management (SIEM) solutions to perform analysis and reporting on data collected by the log management solutions implemented throughout the enterprise
Assist with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls
Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Participate in special projects as required
REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related scientific/technical discipline
DoD 8570 IAM Level II or CSSP certification, and computing environment certification
Must possess a TS with SCI eligibility.
Experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis
Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in an information assurance/cyber security
Experience using security tools such as ACAS, HBSS, nLighten, Qradar, ArcSight and Splunk
