Under the supervision of the Circulating RN, The Surgical Tech Extern will assist in the perioperative process
Assists in creating and maintaining an orderly sterile instrument table.
Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized. and safe patient care environment
Can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved
What you will need in this role:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Currently enrolled and in good standing in an approved school of surgical technology required
BLS card through American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties.
