This role is perfect for experienced inspectors with previous medical device inspection experience. The position is responsible for the day-to-day quality activities and primarily focuses on complex product inspections, including product inspection and data collection. This role involves measuring key quality characteristics of products by sampling parts and analyzing trends of each shipment received. Inspectors perform visual inspections on incoming materials and review final products to ensure quality specifications are met. The position requires working well in a group setting, passion for patient safety, the ability to read engineering blueprints, and capability of training and providing guidance to other Quality Receiving Inspectors. Basic computer skills including data input, word processing, and the use of Excel are also required.Responsibilities
Primarily inspect complex products received by Receiving Inspections.
Maintain and validate all inspection equipment.
Organize and preserve all Inspection and Non-conformance records.
Maintain Receiving Inspections, Quarantine, and NCR logs.
Ensure Identification and Traceability of products.
Essential Skills
Previous work experience of at least 6 months.
High School education.
Basic computer experience.
Ability to read engineering blueprints.
Experience with calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
Knowledge of quality assurance, tolerances, CMM, GMP, quality standards, assembly, production, gauge, and GD&T.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Capability of training and providing guidance to other inspectors.
