 This project is in the proposal stage, we’re awaiting to be awarded the contract.This position is in support of the County of Sarasota Florida to provide care for those with special needs who are displaced in the event of a largescale disaster. This position requires the individual to be able to respond to a disaster with in 24 hours of notice to establish care with in 72 hours of notification. This is post disaster mission and will require the individual to be onsite until conclusion of the operation.   The RN Medical Manager is responsible for the overall management of the medical operations of the shelter and is the deputy Team leader for the project. The Medical Manager will have administrative oversight over all nursing staff at the shelter.  Key Responsibilities:Manage the overall performance of the medical operations.  Manage staff schedule and rotations for all personnel.  Serve as the project representative when required.  Provide updates to the county and agencies as required.  Ensures quality care and accountability of patients. Leads shift handovers and after-action reviews.   Serves as lead for all medical training and oversight. Provides medical care within scope when required. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
