is currently searching for a dynamic sales

professional for our

Building Automation Service Sales team. The primary

responsibility of this role is to promote Siemens strong market position

for delivering smart building technology to help our customers create outstanding

experiences for their customers. In this position, you

will achieve booking and profit goals by capitalizing on

sales opportunities within the territory and applying your knowledge

of digital service technologies to existing building challenges.Responsibilities:Develop a comprehensiveunderstanding of the marketplace, competitorofferings, customers, and decision influencers across theregion, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep currenton automation, electrical, fire, mechanical, and IoT market businessand product trends.

Develop a vertical market andaccount management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identifynew business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments anddevelop “go to market” strategies to drive businessto the end user customer.

Develop and maintain aqualified funnel of opportunities. Achieve new order/bookingand profit goals. Deliver on forecasted resultsconsistently.

Collaborate with operations andinternal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Partner with other salesdivision teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects andaccounts.

Attend industry-specificnetworking events; actively participate in professional organizations suchas ASHRAE, AEE or USGBC to build a network of contacts and to representSiemens in the market.

Workingwith consulting engineers to educate and assist with control system designand specifications

Consult with the customer onfuture technology needs and to determine budgeting andinvestment requirements.

Position Siemens as an industryleader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-classdigital service delivery as a key differentiator.

Act as a consultantto multiple levels of the customer’s organization byunderstanding their challenges and recommending services to ensure theirbuilding systems perform as required to achieve business goals.

Have an understanding ofcontrol system design and the fundamentals of thermodynamics, electricity,water piping and motors, starters and drives

Providing technicalpresentations and demonstrations on Automated Logic products and offerings

Resolvingmajor deviations from scope with the operations team after project scopevalidation.

Setpricing based on identified value of the services offered to thecustomer.

Work with operations,finance, legal and other inside and outside resources to obtain thesale.

Actively participate in salesdepartment meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay knowledgeable oncurrent market, business, and product trends.

Travel overnight upto 10% for training and business development.

Qualifications:Mechanical or ElectricalEngineer degree required; a combination of education andexperience will also be considered

Must have capability of reviewing engineeringdocumentation and determining the scope of work and recommendations.

2+years of sales experience in the building automation industry

Software, IoT, and networkingexperience a plus

Experience in the life sciences,healthcare, education, data center, and commercial officevertical markets preferred

Financial expertise to estimateand sell technical solutions and service offerings effectivelyand independently

Account development andstrategic sales skills

Experience selling to endusers/owners

Demonstrable understanding ofhow-to market, position, and sell cloud-based, data-driven serviceprograms such as fault detection and diagnostics to existing and newcustomers preferred

Excellent verbal and written communicationskills in English

Excellent organizational,presentation, and negotiation skills

Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice suite

Proficiency with Salesforce CRMpreferred

Must be 21 years of age andpossess a valid driver's license with limited violations
