Prepares research proposals with detailed rationale, background data, and proposed methods and organization.
Designs and writes programs to perform analysis and produces written reports on results.
Collects pilot data to help support new and competing renewal applications.

Maintains data files and conducts data analysis.
Drafts and publishes manuscripts and articles for peer-reviewed journals.
Prepares and submits grant applications.
Designs, executes, interprets, and integrates scientific data.
Presents research findings at local and national scientific conferences.
