Description We are searching for a Finance Manager to join our team in Miami, Florida. This is an opportunity to join a successful broker dealer. This role focuses on overseeing the administrative department, supervising financial operations, and aiding in the development of financial and budget strategies. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for financial forecasting, supervising payroll processing, and managing relationships with company bank representatives. Responsibilities: Participate in the creation and coordination of the annual budget, which includes forecasting expenses and conducting financial analysis Supervise the Administrative department, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing Oversee non-recurrent invoices processing for payments and coordinate accounts receivable and payable Maintain relationships with representatives for the company bank accounts Direct overall planning, assigning, and work direction within the administrative area, resolving complaints and problems Support the month-end and year-end accounting close processes and assist in the review of monthly financial statements Serve as a point of contact for HR in the USA, coordinating compensation, relocations, employee benefits, and learning needs Act as a liaison between IT team and internal users in the implementation of projects and requirements Participate in Financial and Tax Audits, Worker Compensation Audits, Affiliates Audits, Corporate Internal Audits, and Regulatory AuditsRequirements Proven experience in a VP/Director of Finance role or similar senior-level finance positions Proficiency in 3M and ADP - Financial Services Expertise in using Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated skills in CapEx and CRM Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions Proficiency in Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management Strong skills in Cash Flow Analysis Ability to drive financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks Experience in devising and implementing strategic plans to meet targets Proven track record of managing corporate finance and accounting functions Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Proficiency in using financial software Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset Excellent communication and leadership skills Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be a plus.   • Summary Directs S&T Miami laboratory located in Miami, Florida. This facility is a medium sized laboratory charged with advancing the safeguarding mission of APHIS, PPQ and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as well as supporting trade and AQI regulatory decision-making and operations by adapting and developing treatments, inspection technology, and survey methods. Primary activities of the laboratory are performed in the context of complex, multi-phased projects extending months/years. Responsibilities The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Oversees the full scope of the primary proposed activities of the ST Treatment and Inspection Methods Laboratory, which includes methods development/applied research; technology transfer; development of scientific expertise. Evaluates laboratory resource needs, submits formal budget and staffing proposals to the ST Associate Deputy Administrator and is accountable for properly administering budget allocations. Manages the formal structure of the laboratory, with authority to design new and restructure existing positions. Assesses and optimizes laboratory work-processes and participates in initiatives to improve administrative processes of the organization. Designates project leaders and applies the organization\'s system of assigning work to staff. Provides linkage among the research community and implementation institutions to promote the use of pest management technologies. Responsible for the formulation and achievement of short- and long-range goals concerning laboratory operations with particular focus on maximizing the quality of research efforts.
