Essential Job Functions:

Grilling Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in using Charcoal and wood fire grilling equipment to cook a variety of dishes, ensuring that the unique flavors and characteristics associated with open flame grilling are maintained.

Preparation: Prepare meats, vegetables, and other grillable items according to established recipes and standards.

Grill Operation: Operate Mibrasa grill and oven and other associated equipment, ensuring precise control of temperatures and cooking times for different items.

Quality Control: Monitor the quality of grilled items, ensuring they meet the desired taste, texture, and presentation standards.

Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of grilled items as part of complete dishes.

Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the menu items, including ingredients, cooking methods, and any special requirements, to provide accurate information to customers.

Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized grilling area and following proper sanitation practices.

Adaptability: Adapt to changes in the menu, incorporating new grilling techniques and recipes as required.

Efficiency: Work efficiently to ensure that orders are prepared in a timely manner, especially during peak hours.

Flexibility and Team Support: Assist in Prep, Line, or Dish machine functions when required.

Interpersonal Skills: Interact with co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner, maintaining a warm smile and sincere greeting. Foster a positive attitude within the team.

Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality in adherence to schedules.

Compliance and Standards: Adhere to the employee handbook and training manuals, ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age

Food Handler Safety Training Card

Required Skills:

Previous experience as a grill cook, preferably with experience using charcoal and wood fire grill Knowledge of different grilling techniques and the ability to bring out distinct flavors in grilled dishes.

Understanding of food safety standards and best practices.

Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality grilled items.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation Details
